Municipal Election
The City of Salem has scheduled its regular municipal election for Tuesday, June 6th, 2023 for the election of three, four-year council seats in wards one, two, and three, as well as an unexpired 2-year term in ward three.

Candidacy forms are available for filing during normal business hours until Saturday, February 4th, 2022 at Salem City Hall, 229 W Main St., Salem, WV. There will be a filing fee of $25 for each candidate.

All filing fees are non-refundable.

Only registered voters of the city shall be eligible to hold the office of council member per charter.
